Chiara Boschian Cuch
She began studying in 2006 at “Istituto di Musica della Pedemontana” in Aviano, Italy, with Maestro Enrico De Val.
In 2020 Chiara received a First Class Honours Master degree in flute performance from the “Jacopo Tomadini” Conservatory of Music in Udine, Italy, under the guidance of maestros Giorgio Marcossi, Anna Tirindelli and Angela Camerini.
Chiara has given numerous soloist and chamber music performances in theatres and concert halls both in Italy and abroad, including “Teatro Comunale Giuseppe Verdi” in Pordenone, “Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine”, “Teatro Palamostre” and “Salone del Parlamento del Castello” in Udine, “Palazzo Congressi” in Riva del Garda, “Teatro Arrigoni” in San Vito al Tagliamento, “Teatro Comunale” in Monfalcone, “Sala Michelangeli” of the Conservatory of Music in Bolzano, the Castle of Ferlach and in the Kulturhaus in Dornbirn (Austria), the House of Music in Puebla, the Italian Cultural Institute in Mexico City and “Teatro Felipe Carillo Puerto” and “Palacio de la Música” in Mérida (México).
She played with the symphonic orchestra of the Conservatory of Music “Jacopo Tomadini” in Udine, with the orchestra “Filarmonici Friulani” and with the “Orchestra San Marco” in Pordenone, Italy.
In her early career, she also played with harpist Lucia de Antoni and pianists Fabrizia Maronese, Franca Bertoli, Ferdinando Mussutto, Marco Colombaro and Daniele Bonini.
She attended the prestigious “Alpe Adria” International Chamber Music Seminars, studying with Giorgio Marcossi, Carlo Teodoro, Helfried Fister, and Fulvio Zarko Hrvatic and international masterclasses with Maestro Berten D’Hollander in Udine and Maestro Alejandro Vázquez in Mexico City.
In 2016, she started collaborating with the guitarist Maestro Eduardo Cervera, with whom she cofounded Osian duo. Their repertoire is based mostly on modern and contemporary music originally written for flute and guitar. Two years later, in 2018, Osian duo was invited to give several concerts in Mérida, Mexico City and Puebla (Mexico). In 2019 Osian duo won the first price at the “XIV Concorso Internazionale Musica Insieme” in Musile di Piave, Venice.
